ここでは、DDR X2 Y-Specialのちょっとした裏話を語りたいと思います。
Here, I would like to tell you a little story behind the DDR X2 Y-Special.
まずは、DDR X2 Y-Specialの制作時期についてです。
First, let me tell you about the production period of DDR X2 Y-Special.
実は、DDR X2 Y-Specialのほとんどの譜面は、MAKE IT BETTER (Y-Special)よりも前に作られました。
In fact, most charts for DDR X2 Y-Special were created before MAKE IT BETTER (Y-Special).
MAKE IT BETTER (Y-Special)の公開日は一昨年の5月でしたが、DDR X2 Y-Specialのほとんどはそれよりも前に制作しました。
MAKE IT BETTER (Y-Special) was released in May of the year before last, but most of DDR X2 Y-Special was produced before that.
具体的には、4年以上前です。
More specifically, over four years ago.
Y-Specialの制作初期ではっちゃけ過ぎていたからか、おふざけ譜面をたくさん制作してしまいました。
In the early stages of Y-Special production, I was being too playful, so I created a lot of silly charts.
とてもYouTubeにアップロードできるような内容でない譜面は、なるべく原型を崩さないように修正しました。
Charts that are not content that can be uploaded to YouTube have been revised to maintain their original form as much as possible.
ちなみに、下記の曲については、4年前ではなくDDR X Y-Specialの制作後に作りました。

さて、タイトルリストの最後につい先ほど公開したタイトルがありますね。
そう、Valkyrie dimension (Y-Special)です。

答えは「いいえ」です。もちろん作りました。
ではなぜそこにタイトルがあるのか？
それは、Valkyrie Dimensionだけは微修正ではなく、一から譜面を作り直したからです。
The answer is "no." Of course I made it.
So why is there a title there?
That's because Valkyrie Dimension was the only chart that was rebuilt from scratch, rather than just a minor modification.
4年前、私が制作したValkyrie dimension (Y-Special)は、Valkyrie dimension [CSP]を僅かに難しくした譜面でした。
Four years ago, I edited Valkyrie dimension (Y-Special), which was a slightly more difficult version of Valkyrie dimension [CSP].
ところが、4年が経つ前に、公式でそれより難しい足19が出現してしまいました。
BREAKING THE FUTURE [CSP]です。
However, before four years had passed, an official, more difficult level 19 appeared.
It is BREAKING THE FUTURE [CSP].
衝撃でした。
こんなに不可能に近い譜面が足19なら、どうやったら足20になるんだという感想でした。
It was a shock.
My impression was that if such a nearly impossible chart was level 19, what kind of chart could be level 20?
レベル20は公式には無いので想像で難しさを決めるしかありません。
ただ、今後インフレが続いても、どの足19よりも難しい譜面になるようにする必要があります。
There is no official level 20, so I had to use my imagination to determine the difficulty.
However, even if inflation continues in the future, it is necessary to make the chart more difficult than any level 19.
そこで、極限まで難しい譜面を作ろうという意志のもと制作したのがValkyrie dimension (Y-Special)です。
Therefore, Valkyrie dimension (Y-Special) was edited with the intention of creating an extremely difficult chart.
踏めるわけないチャートなのは分かっています。
