活動理由

Y-Specialに関する活動をしている理由は四つあります。
There are four reasons why I am involved in Y-Special activities.
一つ目は、過去にも述べていますのでそのまま引用しますが、あまり選ばれない曲にスポットライトを当てるためです。
私はDDRに収録されている曲が好きです。
特に、あまり高難易度ではない曲にこそ良曲が潜んでいると思っています。
しかし、どの音楽ゲームも、より難しい曲に挑戦することが楽しみ方として一般的です。
DDRについて言えば、MAや全曲埋めでもしない限り、高難易度の曲しかプレイしないでしょう。
私は、それをもったいないと感じています。
そこで、ACに収録されている全ての曲をレベル15以上で制作すれば、
それらの曲が聞かれる機会が少しでも増えるかと考えました。
The first reason is something I've said before, so I'll just quote it here: it's because I want to spotlight songs that are not often chosen.
I like the songs included in DDR.
In particular, I believe that good songs are hidden in songs that are not very difficult.
However, a common way to enjoy any music game is to try harder songs.
When it comes to DDR, we probably only play the higher difficulty songs unless we do MA or play all the songs.
I feel it's a waste.
Therefore, I thought that if all the songs included in the arcade were produced at level 15 or higher,
the chances of those songs being heard would increase even a little.
二つ目は、最近DDRを知った方が、昔のDDR曲(低難易度の曲)からお気に入りの曲を見つけた時に、YouTubeでEDITを検索すれば、必ずその曲の高難易度版のEDITが見つかるような環境を作りたかったからです。
StepmaniaのEDITは、ボス曲や有名曲のEDITはたくさんYouTube上に投稿されていますが、マイナーな曲のEDITはあまり作っている方がおらず、EDITが1つもヒットしない場合も珍しくありません。
せめて現在ACのDDRに収録されている曲だけでも、EDITの検索結果が0件になってしまうような曲が無くなればいいいと思い、このような活動を始めました。
The second reason is that I wanted to create an environment where people who have recently learned about DDR would be able to find a high-difficulty version of a song by searching for EDIT on YouTube when they find a favorite song from the older DDR songs (low difficulty songs).
There are many Stepmania edits of boss songs and famous songs uploaded on YouTube, but not many people make edits of lesser known songs, so it's not uncommon for not a single edit to be a hit.
I started this project with the hope that, at the very least, there would be no more songs that have zero results in EDIT search results, even if it was just the songs currently included in AC's DDR.
三つ目は、昔DDRを遊んだ方々が、当時の思い出を思い出し、コメント欄で各々がそれを綴ったり語り合ったりするような場が欲しいと思ったからです。
要するに、共通の趣味を持つ仲間同士で一体感を楽しみたかったということです。
今はできていませんが、前は毎日動画を投稿していました。
古い曲から順に投稿していたのもあり、皆でDDRの歴史を振り返ろう的な意味合いもちょっとだけありました。
正直、私の動画を観た方が、譜面の内容には特に興味を持たず、こんな曲あったなって思ってくれるだけでも、DDR好きとしては嬉しいことです。
The third reason is that I wanted a place where people who played DDR in the past could reminisce about their memories and write about them and talk about them in the comments section.
In short, I wanted to enjoy a sense of unity with friends who share the same hobby.
I can't do that anymore, but I used to upload videos every day.
Since I uploaded the songs in chronological order from the oldest to the newest, it also had a bit of a feeling of everyone looking back on the history of DDR.
To be honest, as a DDR fan, I'm happy even if people who watch my videos aren't particularly interested in the contents of the charts, but just remember that there was a song like this.
四つ目は、純粋に私の自己満足のためです。
活動者たるもの、結局自分が楽しめなくちゃ意味無いと思います。
チャンネル登録者数を見る限り、Y-Specialが多くの方に好まれていて嬉しく思いますが、Y-Specialの一番のファンは私であると断言します。
レベルも譜面の個性もリズムの取り方も全て私の自由ですからね。
YUHIの中の譜面制作が好きな人格が、YUHIの中の譜面観賞が好きな人格を楽しませ、それをYouTube上に垂れ流しているだけです。
The fourth reason is purely for my own satisfaction.
In the end, I think it's pointless to be an activist if you can't enjoy it yourself.
Judging from the number of subscribers, I'm glad to see that Y-Special is well-liked by many people, but I can safely say that I am Y-Special's biggest fan.
The level, the characteristics of the chart, and the rhythm are all entirely up to me.
The part of YUHI that likes to edit charts is simply entertaining the part of YUHI that likes to look at charts, and posting it on YouTube.
